Windsor Education Foundation

About

The Windsor Education Foundation (WEF) is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization founded in 2007 by Jane Garibay and a handful of local citizens. Our  volunteer Board of Directors is made up of Windsor volunteers whose mission is to support Windsor children in the education system.

WEF continues to support excellence in Windsor Public Schools. From 2007 to 2023, WEF has awarded $218,892 in grant awards to local public-school educators and positively affected the lives of thousands of Windsor school children through creative teach projects and programs.

Our goal is to fund at least $15,000 worth of grants each year. It is through our fundraising efforts and donations from residents, local business people, and corporate giving that we are able to meet our goals.

Ways to donate:
– Mail Windsor Geissler’s receipts to WEF, PO Box 86, Windsor CT 06095 and Geissler’s will donate 5%
– Donate monetarily and ask your company about matching gifts
– Attend one of our fundraising events

Donations to WEF are tax deductible and can be made online or by mail to WEF, PO Box 86, Windsor, CT 06095. Please give generously, knowing that the money is going towards creative learning opportunities for Windsor students.
