Learn How to Write and Draw Graphic Novels with Author Ryan McCarthy

Ryan McCarthy is a cartoonist and author that has created a multi-part graphic novel series called Tamashi, a story about a girl lost in a new world called the Ancient Land. The Tamashi series includes many themes concerning living with special needs, as Ryan is an advocate for awareness for people with special needs, including but not limited to autism and Asperger's.

Come join Ryan at the Windsor Public Library on Thursday, August 29 as he shares how the graphic novel series came to be and how he incorporated his own life experiences into this work. An overview on how to write and draw the design for a graphic novel will be discussed. This program will start at 6:00 PM. No registration required.
