The Windsor Palette and Brush Club Begins a New Season. 

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 6:00 PM at LP Wilson, All Purpose Room 1, the Windsor Palette and Brush Club will hold their first demonstration meeting in 2026. 

We have invited Mike Laiuppa to demonstrate in oil. He is well known for his portraiture and is highly accomplished. Mike is a personal trainer and oil painter based in Simsbury, CT. Along with running his training business, he teaches painting at West Hartford Art League, workshops at Lyme Art Association, and private lessons. 

Mike's main focus is on human and animal portraiture, but he also enjoys painting still-life. He is a member of both the Portrait Society of America and Oil Painters of America. In his own words, Mike shared, "Oil paint feels alive to me. It can be pushed, prodded, streaked, and steered. But no matter what you do to it, it will remain true to your intent. I find it a fascinating medium with which to create. It's by far the easiest I've played with, but truly the hardest to master. It's for these reasons I feel drawn to commanding it." 

We hope you will join us for what promises to be a very educational and entertaining evening. The Windsor Palette and Brush Club welcomes new members and guests are always welcome.

Members are currently preparing for the Spring Exhibit which will have its opening reception on April 5, 2026, from 2:00- 4:00PM at the Town Hall.
