Description
Step into the Northeast of the Woodland Period and learn about traditional food way's and preservation techniques. Educators from Nowashe Village in South Windsor will discuss eating seasonally and what that looked like for the Indigenous People of Connecticut. In this multi-sensory program, we will explore native plants and artifacts from the teaching collection of the Friends of Wood Memorial Library and Museum.
