Join us for the Opening Reception of our 11th Annual Members' Exhibition Saturday, July 19 from 5:00–7:00PM.

Enjoy light refreshments, meet the artists, and see the presentation of awards. 

This exhibition promises to be a celebration of creativity and artistic diversity, including paintings, sculpture, fiber art, photography, and more.  Free to attend! 

Attention all Windsor Art Center members!  We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your artistic talents in our upcoming exhibition. Whether you are an established artist or emerging creative, we invite you to submit your artwork and be a part of this vibrant showcase.

ART RECEIVING:

Please mark your calendars for the designated art receiving dates and times. During these scheduled times, you can bring your artwork to Windsor Art Center for submission. Our dedicated volunteers will be available to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

  • Sunday, July 6: 9-11am 
  • Tuesday, July 8: 5-7pm 

ART RETRIEVAL: (for artists and people who purchased artwork)

  • Sunday, August 31: 9–11am
  • Tuesday, September 2: 5 – 7pm

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Participants must be current members of Windsor Art Center.
  • Each member may submit up to two works of art.
  • Artwork should be ready for display, appropriately framed or prepared for installation.
  • All mediums and styles are welcome.
  • Note: Beginning July 1, 2025, the commission to WAC for art sales has increased from 30% to 40%.

2025 Members’ Contract – *Bring a completed, signed contract to drop off

WAC-ID-Tag-2025 – *Attach a filled out tag to the front and back of each piece before drop off

 

AWARDS

We are pleased to announce that there will be several awards presented for outstanding artwork in the exhibition:

  • Cash prize for “Best in Show” and Second Place.
  • Non-cash Honorable Mention recognition.
  • Special recognition for young participants.

JUROR OF AWARD

We are honored to have Jared Quinton as our Juror of Awards this year.  Jared is a curator, writer, and currently the Emily Hall Tremaine Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford, CT, where he oversees the pioneering MATRIX exhibition series and the museum’s postwar and contemporary collection and galleries. 

MORE ABOUT JARED

Jared Quinton has organized exhibitions and programs at the Wadsworth Atheneum, Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, The Kitchen (New York), Terremoto La Postal (Mexico City), Gallery 44 (Toronto), Abrons Art Center (New York), Whitney Museum of American Art (New York), Chicago Artists Coalition, Institute of Fine Arts (New York), Tiger Strikes Asteroid Chicago, and the Williams College Museum of Art (Williamstown, MA). He has written for Artforum, BOMB, The Brooklyn Rail, and e-flux, and has contributed to exhibition catalogues for the Hammer Museum, Blanton Museum, MCA Chicago, and Prospect New Orleans. He has held the Marcia Reid Marsted and Jeffrey G. Marsted Curatorial Fellowship at the Wadsworth Atheneum, the Marjorie Susman Curatorial Fellowship at the MCA Chicago, and the Helena Rubinstein Curatorial Fellowship at the Whitney Independent Study Program, been a guest critic at the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois Chicago, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and juried prizes for Provincetown Art Association and Museum and Holy Cross University. He holds art history degrees from Williams College and the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University.
