Mental Health First Aid: Support for Adults and Youth Mental Health First Aid courses provide essential skills to identify, understand, and respond to mental health challenges or substance use disorders.
Two courses are available:
- Youth Mental Health First Aid: Focused on supporting adolescents (ages 12–18), covering topics like anxiety, depression, disruptive behavior disorders (e.g., ADHD), and eating disorders. Participants explore topics such as common youth mental health challenges, typical adolescent development, and a practical 5-step action plan for handling crises and non-crisis situations
- Adult Mental Health First Aid: Focused on addressing mental health challenges in adults, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Through this training, you’ll gain the tools to provide initial support to someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or developing related issues
Both courses empower participants with practical strategies to promote recovery, resilience, and confidence in supporting adolescents or adults during mental health challenges.
Youth Course: $129
