Introduction to Hydroponics with LEVO International

Description

Come join us as we explore a new way of feeding our community through hydroponics. During this program, representative from LEVO International, a hunger relief organization in Hartford, will share more about their mission and how they are changing the local food system through soil-less growing. The facilitators will also share how to start your own mini hydroponic garden through a "make and take" mason jar hydroponic growing system. Participants are requested to bring a mason jar to recycle into a hydroponic windowsill planter for their home. Ages: 55+
