Summer Concert: Skyway

Description

Come out for Summer Concerts on the Windsor Town Green on Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 PM from July 6 through August 24, 2023. Rain dates are always the following Tuesday. Organized by First Town Downtown.

July 20: Skyway

Skyway's outstanding musicians and premier vocalists perform a broad spectrum of dance music from 70's R&B to current hits. Skyway's uptempo sets keep the dance floor full with hits from great artists such as Earth Wind and Fire, Donna Summer, Michael Jackson, Chic, Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars.

July 27: Still Kickin' with Big City Horns

A rockin' nine piece band paying tribute to the great 60's - 70's and 80's Horn Bands. A powerhouse rhythm and horn section delivering a variety of Classic Rock, R & B, Blues, Soul and Funk, with a touch of Country thrown in - to keep you moving on the dance floor.

August 3: Sazzy Brass

Sazzy Brass led by Rosemarie Roy (trombone) & Dawn Zukowski (trumpet) are Windsor High band alumni. This female led group puts a creative spin on some of your favorite jazz standards/Rhythm and Blues and features Hartford area jazz guests, Linda Ransom vocals, Alvin Carter Jr, Kris Jensen, Mary DiPaola, Matt Dwonzyk, Tony Davis.
