The inaugural Go Bike Ride fundraiser, held in Windsor, Connecticut, was a resounding
success, bringing together a dedicated group of 50 riders and raising thousands of dollars for
The Support Info Go Initiative. The funds will be used to develop an innovative online support
platform aimed at providing resources and connection opportunities for individuals managing
ongoing medical conditions.
The picturesque town of Windsor provided the perfect backdrop for the event, where cyclists of
all ages and skill levels came together with a shared mission: to support the creation of a digital
community where people facing chronic illnesses can connect, find educational resources, and
join support groups. Riders pedaled through scenic routes, cheered on by supporters and
volunteers, all united in their commitment to making a difference.
The Support Info Go Initiative is a visionary project that seeks to empower individuals living with
long-term medical conditions. The forthcoming platform will offer a comprehensive range of
services, including access to peer support groups, educational information on various
conditions, and expert resources to help users manage their health more effectively.
“We couldn’t have done this without the help of our sponsors and partners including Dudleytown
Brewery, Windsor Federal Bank, and the town of Windsor,” said Ray Charpentier,
president of The Support Info Go Initiative.
“We are thrilled by the overwhelming support from our community and the success of our first
Go Bike Ride,” said Eric Lopkin, the chairman of the board of The Support Info Go Initiative.
“This fundraiser brings us one step closer to launching the My Support Connection platform that
will make a significant difference in the lives of countless individuals who face the challenges of
living with chronic health issues.”
With the success of this year’s ride, the organizers are already planning future rides to continue
to raise awareness and funds for this important cause. The next annual Go Bike Ride will take
place on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
